Pilot Watch: NBC Picks up 2 Comedies, “The Bone Collector” Based Drama

NBC made a few additional renewal announcements ordering two comedy series, Perfect Harmony and Indebted, and drama series Lincoln for the 2019-2020 season.

Perfect Harmony stars Bradley Whitford as a Princeton music professor who stumbles upon a small town church choir. The official tagline, “Arthur and his newfound cohorts may just be the perfect mix of individuals to help each other reinvent and rediscover a little happiness, just when they all need it most.” Anna Camp and Tymberlee Hill also star.

Indebted stars Adam Pally (Happy Endings) and Abby Elliott (Saturday Night Live) as young parents Dave and Rebecca overcoming dirty diapers and sleepless nights. Things get worse when Dave’s parents (Steven Weber and Fran Drescher) show up broke on their doorstep, forcing Dave and Rebecca to take them in.

Lincoln stars David Hornsby, fresh off his Proven Innocent cancellation at Fox, follows former NYPD detective and forensic genius Lincoln Rhyme suffers a horrific accident at the hand of a notorious serial killer, and forces him out of the field. Young detective Amelia Sachs (Midnight, Texas alum Arielle Kebbel) gets onto the killer’s tail and enlist Lincoln as her new partner to capture the bone collector. Based off the novel The Bone Collector by Jeffrey Deaver, a 1999 feature film starred Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie.
