Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is moving from late night to prime time. ABC announced today that Kimmel will be hosting the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
One thing that we can expect from Kimmel is non-stop digs at the celebrities in the audience, as well as a great pre-taped, star-studded celebrity bit that Kimmel is widely known for. His latest parody, Movie: The Movie, has quickly gone viral online.
This will be a busy year for Jimmy Kimmel. In addition to hosting the Emmys and Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel is also set to be the emcee at the White House Correspondents Dinner in April.
The 2012 Primetime Emmys will air live September 23rd on ABC.
