Kenan Thompson is extending his relationship with NBC with the pickup of his comedy series The Kenan Show.
The Kenan Show will revolve around Kenan (Thompson) who wants to be a super dad to his two little girls (Dani Lockett and Dannah Lockett) while Alain balancing his job and his father-in-law (Andy Garcia). Chris Rock is set to direct the pilot.
In addition to The Kenan Show, Thompson intends to continue to be a cast member on Saturday Night Live as well his involvement in the All That reboot for Nickelodeon, the show that launched his career over 20 years ago.
The Kenan Show joins comedy Sunnyside and dramas Bluff City Law and Council of Dads moving forward at NBC.
